To help in the process of educating neurosurgeons is, as it has always been, among the most important aims of the WFNS. In that sense, it is important to stress the relevance of the WFNS Education Courses: through them, the World Federation is capable of providing neurosurgeons, all over the world, with the opportunity to improve their knowledge thus becoming better professionals.

It is the third time a WFNS Course is held in Pakistan. It is a great pleasure to be back to this wonderful country and to be able to organize, as the chairman of the Education and Training Committee of the WFNS, this Neurosurgical Education Course on this most beautiful city of Karachi. In the scientific programme, we have attempted to cover the most important topics of Neurosurgery, from the basic to the most sophisticated subjects of our speciality.

We will, as always, count on the participation of very distinguished neurosurgeons coming from many different countries, who will share their most valuable knowledge with the participants. No doubt this Course in Karachi will be another unique opportunity not only to exchange Neurosurgical experiences, but also a chance to strengthen our relationships with colleagues from all parts of the world and to contribute to elevate Neurosurgical performances.
