Dear Friends and Colleagues, It is my
great pleasure to invite you to attend
the WFNS Education Course that will
run in February 2009, in Karachi.
Neurosurgical education has always
been one of the main goals of the WFNS.
A high-level course depends on the
content of the scientific program but
also on the quality of the speakers.
Our Chairman of the Education and
training Committee, Prof. Atos Alves
De Sousa, will prepare,
as ever, an excellent program. Very
distinguished neurosurgeons will
deliver the best of their knowledge
and share their experience with all
participants. Our courses offer ample
and constructive grounds for the
exchange of ideas and knowledge in all
fields related to neurosurgery.
They also give us the opportunity to
strengthen our relations with
colleagues from all parts of the world
and contribute to better treat our
patients and reinforce the
contribution of neurosurgery to
quality of life.
I am sure we shall live together
stimulating days in Karachi and I
want to express, on behalf of the
WFNS, my most sincere thanks to
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ali Shah and the
organizing committee, for their
contribution to hold the course in
Karachi where I hope having the
